Why the fluid needs cooling

Part of the energy in a hydraulic system is always turned into heat. Overheated oil loses viscosity and ages faster, accelerating wear of seals, pumps and valves. A correctly sized cooler keeps the temperature stable and extends the service life of the oil and the equipment.
